It looks like Snooki’s labor inducing tricks worked! A source confirms to Star that the reality star gave birth to her second child on Fri., Sept. 26.
The Jersey Shore alum and her fiancé, Jionni LaValle, welcomed a 6 lb., 7 oz. baby girl named Giovanna at 4:28 am (The name is the same one Snooks used for the main character in her book A Shore Thing). Her dad and Jionni were at the hospital when the baby was born.
Snooki confirmed the baby news on Twitter just hours after giving birth. “So happy to let you know we had our beautiful daughter this morning Giovanna Marie LaValle,” she wrote. “6.7 lbs, full head of black hair & perfect.” Her rep also confirmed the news, adding, “Nicole & her daughter are doing amazing.”
This is the second child for the 26-year-old, whose son, Lorenzo, was born in August 2012. The couple are planning a wedding for this fall and are currently moving into their first home.
